Course Introduction:
A preliminary introduction to written Hindi language.
This course is designed for students with little to no prior knowledge of Hindi. It focuses on developing basic language skills for communication, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Prequisite:
Hindi 100 – Hindi 400 or a Challenge Test.
Course Objectives:
- This course will focus only in speaking about weekly topics.
- Students will be given simple podcasts, texts, and other resources to read prior to class for discussion each week.
Grading Structure:
- No Attendance
- 25% Lesson Assessments
- 75% Final Comprehensive Exam
(Online 48-hour turnaround, multiple choice)
