THE RIGVEDA – AERONAUTICAL SCIENCE

For Children: Imagine finding a blueprint from thousands of years ago that shows how to build a futuristic, high-speed super-train! An ancient, wise teacher looked closely at this poem and realized it is actually a checklist for engineers building a fast, safe vehicle to help the whole world.

Here is how the engineers build and run this ancient super-vehicle, step-by-step:

• Step 1: The Wheels and the Shell: First, the engineers look at the outside of the vehicle. They design a super-strong, multi-layered shell to protect the passengers while moving at blazing fast speeds. Then, they figure out exactly where to place three powerful spinning wheels or thrusters to push it forward smoothly.

• Step 2: The Shock Absorbers: Next, they look inside. Moving that fast can cause a lot of bumpy shaking! To protect the drivers, the engineers built three tightly connected support columns or pilot seats right into the floor. These act like ultimate shock absorbers to soak up the vibrations so the ride stays perfectly steady.

• Step 3: Turning on the Engine: Now it’s time for power. The engineers figure out how to safely connect the engine’s wild energy – like hot steam or electricity – to the wheels. They have to get the timing exactly right so the vehicle launches forward smoothly without breaking.

• Step 4: The Super-Scientists take the Wheel: Finally, who gets to drive this amazing machine? The poem says it shouldn’t be used just for fun or for fighting. Instead, the steering wheel is handed over to a team of dedicated, smart scientists. They use the rules of physics to pilot the vehicle safely, using it to connect far-away towns, help people travel, and make the world a better place!
