Devaa bhavata vaajinaḥ – 1:23:19
1. Amṛitam Apsu Antaḥ – There is nectar in waters. Nectar helps us overcome the cause of death. Water contains life-sustaining essence. This nourishing element strengthens the body, supports vitality, and preserves life. Because of this sustaining quality, water is described as Amṛita, nectar. It helps human beings overcome many causes of decay and weakness and enables them to maintain health, vigor, and longevity.
2. Bheṣhajam Apsu Antaḥ – There is medicine in waters. Medicine helps us destroy disease. Water also possesses healing qualities. It cleanses impurities, cools the body, and assists in maintaining balance within living systems. In many forms, it acts as medicine. It supports digestion, circulation, and purification, and it is used in various treatments that remove illness and restore well-being.
3. Uta Devaaḥ – And so, O scholars! Therefore, enlightened people and seekers of knowledge are addressed. Those who study the workings of the world should recognize the immense value and power contained in water.
4. Prashastaye – for your own development, for the sake of progress, prosperity, and the advancement of human life, knowledge about water must be carefully cultivated and wisely applied.
5. Bhavata Vaajinaḥ Apaam – Be strong and knowledgeable about the uses of water. Become capable and resourceful in understanding the many benefits of water. Learn how to preserve it, purify it, and apply it in ways that sustain health, agriculture, industry, and daily life. By understanding its powers and using it wisely, human beings can promote strength, prosperity, and lasting well-being for themselves and for society.
